SHAKE Text Hash Generator

Create SHAKE128 or SHAKE256 digests with arbitrary lengths for flexible fingerprinting workflows—all without uploading data. Need to hash files instead? Switch to the SHAKE file tool →

Text SHAKE Hash

Use SHAKE128 or SHAKE256 to generate extendable-output hashes. Choose any digest length between 1 and 512 bytes without leaving the browser.

Each byte yields two hex characters. Max output is 1024 characters.

SHAKE256 with 32 bytes → 64 lowercase hex characters. Increase the digest length for longer fingerprints without changing the input.

Current length: 0 characters

Enter text above to generate a SHAKE256 digest.

Enter a target hash to validate.

Hash overview

SHAKE (Secure Hash Algorithm Keccak) is an extendable-output variant of SHA-3. Dial in the digest length you need while keeping the same 128-bit or 256-bit security level.

All hashing stays on this device—close or refresh to clear the buffers entirely.
